Just wanted to bump this thread by saying I still have this case and I still love it as much as the first time I built my system in it. That is all...

Excuse my messy desk:

I am going to bump because I have done some mods to mine.

I added a window. I could not find any U-Trim except from MNPC, and they seem to be backlogged on orders and half the site is down or sold out, so I didn't trust the sellers anymore. So I found some old RGB cable (you could use an old PS2 controller cable) that was as thin as I could find, split the cable down the middle, pulled out the copper wire, and added it to the trim. I love it.

Then I went to Ace and got a piece of 14x14 plexi cut for $5.87.

I also removed the 5.25 drive bay which was really easy to remove the rivets with a flat head and hammer. Didn't waller out the holes or anything. I had to this to be able to mount the res the way I wanted.

I love my Phantom 410

Just got the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard and am planning on upgrading my GPU. I currently have a Radeon 7800 series and I think it's time for a upgrade, I'm thinking about buying the MSI GTX 970.

Only question I have is will this fit into my case?

Also will my CX 500M Corsair PSU be enough for my build?

Specs:

CPU
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.50GHz

RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz

MSI Z97 GAMING 5 (MS-7917)

Graphics Card

2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (ASUStek Computer Inc)

Yes, the card will fit the 410. The card is 277mm long, and the phantom can house 305mm long cards w/o the hdd cage fan, and 280mm long cards with the fan.
Yes, the psu can handle the system. I built a friend of mine a PC with almost the same specs, and we OC'd his 6600k to 4.5 GHz just fine. smile.gif

So! finally modded 410 tower for the first time ever.

Taken out the HDD cage and the cage on top of it. Painted the fans silver.

Super simple and something no one has done.

I needed the PC system to be relatively light just in case i move out.

SDD double taped on the back plate!

Damn rivets!

Next mod would be the side panel with glass!

What do you guys think that i should get for cooling for maximum temp. for overclocking for under $100? H115i?
Maximum cooling is needed but i need a cooler to add an eye catcher in the case. Something awesome.

i want a water cooling with tubing but i can't get it done under $100..frown.gif

Another Red Phantom 410 owner here.

I had a Deadpool theme in my other case, and figured everybody and their brother was doing one.
So I am working on a Marvel Daredevil theme in the Phantom 410.
I purchased a refurbished case from Newegg, and it was flawless.

Hi guys, so which is better in 410 side fan intake or bottom intake for the gpu?
My current setup is
front 1 intake 140mm
bottom intake 120 mm with dust filter
top exhaust 120
rear exhaust 120

With side fan intake is going to have a differance in GPU temps? or bottom intake now is ok?

I personally chose to put a filtered intake fan on the side panel. While I did fix my cable routing, there are still some cables slightly obstructing the bottom fan air flow.
I think the difference isn't noticeable.
