Hardware needed to monitor/control all my stuff

Hi guys,

I'm planning everything to jump from a basic watercooling setup to a fully featured one and I'll be including the Aquacomputer AQUAERO 5 PRO and I was wondering, thanks to the lack of suficient information in English from Aquacomputer, what exactly do I need to order (i.e. how many Aquacomputer Poweradjust 2). Here's the list of upcomming hardware:

  • 12 x 120mm Apollish Twister UCAP12 fans (4,2W each)
  • 2 x Laing DDC-1RT/Plus (18W each)
  • 2 x Aquacomputer in-line temperature sensors
  • 2 x Aquacomputer flowmeters

I would also like to know (again, lack of information) if I can achieve the following with all this:

  1. Control pumps RPMs
  2. Control fans RPMs
  3. Shut down system in case something fails (too much temperature or low flow)

I'm pretty sure it serves this purpose but I wanted to check with you experts before I spend lots of money on this tongue.gif

Thanks a lot!

I would run one power adjust each per pump and then split up the fans over the four fan channels.

You also need the water block if you plan to run that much load. I think the heatsink can do about 1.5A, but you would be pushing over 4A, so you will need the waterblock to reduce voltage much.

Those LED fans take quite a bit of power, that's like running 24 non-LED fans of that speed.

Thanks Martin! I was thinking about 2 Poweradjust but wanted to be sure. What I don't know is what you mean with "needing the waterblock". What is that? I'm guessing some kind of cooling for the Aquaero?
