Hi i just got a bunch of "older" part this week end and i figure it could make a nice little PC.

Total Cost $300.

Part List:


Intel Q6600 2.4Ghz G0
Intel DP35DP
Kingston Value 667Mhz 2x2GB DDR2
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Fidelity
Saphire HD 5750 Vapor-X Edition (got that about 2 month ago)

Whats i just bought:

Cooler Master HAF 912 (Which i was Able to find the 912 Advance) ($51.00)
Corsair CX430 PSU ($39.99)
Corsair A50 ($19.99)
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM ($105.00)
NZXT Sentry Mix ($32.00)
Pioneer DVD Burner ($19.99)
5x Enermax 120mm Blue led fan (800RPM, 11DBA) ($6.50 Each)

3d Mark 2011 (p2200)
3d Mark Vantage (p8330)
3d Mark 06 (12169)

So an half decent pc.

Light Gaming, Visualization and tonnes of Paper work as I'm opening my own computer store in 2-3 months.

Sweet! The only thing that I would tweak would be the GPU, and the CPU I would change to AMD because they have longer support because they keep their sockets. That's a good amout of advice, I would recommend anything 550 ti or over. and cpu, AM3+ would rock that system. But at the moment its a great (mostly) free system! Can you get me on that parts list? maybe a used 7970?

i wish for the 7970 but power wise except having 8gb everything perfect for my use. Gonna had a BD burner next month when budget gonna allow it (and girl friend) CPU i might trade it for a Q9300 3Ghz of a friend and only thing i might upgrade is the hdd cause gonna need more space. but except that more then enough for me.

might try some plasti dip on it after i order the windows side panel on ebay.... if only they where selling it without the fan on the side...
