My Heavily Overclocked HD 6870 VS your STOCK HD 6950 / HD 6970 [Benches Used: 3Dmark 11 / 3Dmark Vantage / Heaven 2.5]

Hello! Before you jump right in and say "Haha, you stand no chance against my HD 6970!", relax. I know that.

Overclocking can only get me so far, but I'm opening this thread to see where I stand regarding the upper range of the HD 6000 series.

According to my benchmarks, my current OC puts me slightly ahead of a stock HD 6950. That's what I want to confirm / bust. HD 6970s are also welcome, since it will be nice to gauge my performance with the absolute top single GPU of the HD 6000 series..

HD 6950 / HD 6970 owners: Please run your benches AT STOCK SETTINGS. I'm trying to figure out where I stand with my OC 6870 in regards to those models.

NOTE: MY 2600k IS AT STOCK FOR NOW. AND I AM ONLY INTERESTED IN GPU SCORES (3Dmark vantage and 11).

Benches used are: 3Dmark Vantage, 3Dmark 11 and Heaven 2.5

My Current OC, settings, and benchmark results are below:

I don't mind other cards, obviously. I just mainly want the cards in the title wink.gif

Besides, from those results, I can see my Hd 6870 is exactly 50% slower than the HD 7970. Not bad at all for this amazing mid/high-end GPU thumb.gif
