GTX 560 Ti 2GB - Overclocking

Thread Starter
I was wondering if a GTX 560 Ti 2GB model can be overclocked with the 560 Ti 1GB OC'd overclock?
I need help on this because alot of people have been saying that the voltage gets shot easily on the
2GB model.

I need help with the overclock as well biggrin.gif

If you're asking if the 2GB 560 will hit the stock clock of the 1GB version, of 900, then the answer is more than likely.

Why that brand? 1 you can't even buy them on newegg since they're deactivated.

Apparently Galaxy has some good reviews and they don't look shabby. Asus are always good and MSI twin frozr... I'd stick between those 3. Not dissing Zotac or EVGA, you could go those too.

Will it be safe to just move the core/shader/memory from the 2GB's 822/2004/1645 to the 1GB's 900/2100/1800 without having to tinker with the voltage and what not?

Back to the question, will it be safe from 822/2004/1645 to 900/2100/1800 without changing the voltage?

Yes. With a small voltage bump you'll be able to reach 933-950.

Are you SLI'ing a 2Gb with a 1Gb Ti ?
