Please use the edit button instead of double posting.

Nope there isn't any set up you need to do. Just browse to the game you want to move and set the location you want it moved to. Very simple.

Alright, BFBC2 is giving me issues installing using this method; hate you Murphy.

Anyway i swear it has worked before =P

But yeah you can backup your games using steam "backup game files" when you right click on a game in your library; then reinstall using the exe that it made.

you can also just drag the whole steam directory across, delete ClientRegistry.blob, and start steam. It reconfigures all the registry when you load steam for the first time, and everything works afterwards, I've never had an issue doing it via that method

My game drive has 700 GB of games.
well i have a 120 gig ssd.

it is more than enough for me and i have a few games installed on it as well.

i also keep my games to a minimum to save space and clutter on my rig.

i hate mess and things all over.

i have mw2, mw3 and sega genesis installed on my rig with win7 office outlook etc.....

as in buying a second ssd to just do your games. if you got the $$ do it. then there is no worringing over space etc..

and a 240 gig will def do the job.

My games folder is 234GB. Hmm, that's quite a lot, considering I don't have that many games, lol. redface.gif

I have a 256SSD for steam and it runs fine.
It's only for steam though, no OS or anything.
