But anyways I taped a dime where the blade was missing and it reduced the vibrations by a bunch but it had to sacrifice some RPMs. Your right about never achieving a perfect balance but I could live with that. Thanks for your help
Sorry for not being clear. I meant to take a ceiling fan weight that you can buy at a local hardware store, and use that to balance. Normally they are fairly heavy, so there doesn't need to be much offset from the center of the fan, allowing it to spin at normal speeds. The dime seems to work, so you should be good.
