New version of itunes just came out and it's rad. but i still have problems with it what does every else think.
There is still that problem with cover flow using all the juice from ur pc. When i put my library in coverflow mode and move the slider uncontrolably 5 seconds later.

If i kept movin it the usage will go up even further. lol

At this point, I would settle for it finding/being able to update by iPod... It's yet to not freeze up, and that's only after it decides to find the iPod. Most of the time it can't.

What update?

I went through the iTunes update selection under the Help menu and it says that my version (7.0) is the most up to date version.

Can you take a screenshot, with your version number visible?

In his posts he states 7.0.1. The version I have as I've stated before is 7.0 which is different than the one he is posting.

Ok, I see it now. You have to reinstall the entire program instead of getting an update pushed through.

iTunes is trash........even moving past the way it hogs system resources (even if it's not doing anything) it's a pointless music "rental" service with so many restrictions it silly.

You can only burn with iTunes.... :swearing:

You can only burn a few times and then you have to "buy" it again.... :swearing:

You can only PLAY the music with iTunes, and then we're back to the system resource hog..... :swearing:

iTunes is probably ok for those that have an iPod attached to their hips and only use it, but I still burn compilations for play in my stock car CD players or like to listen to songs on my laptop when on trips, and I certinaly don't need iTunes sucking down 50% of my CPU draining battery from my laptop.

Rise up against iTunes, stop renting your music!!!!!
