The fact that AMD didn't want to release any details only gives a stronger indication that they're trying to cover their failure(s) and...well, failing. Countless benchmarks have been spread around the web and AMD can't deny them, so staging a blind test and saying "Look! People can't tell the difference, our CPU doesn't suck all that badly!" is looking like a pretty desperate plea.
What were the testers doing exactly? Browsing folders on the desktop, playing farmville, doing proper gaming or *god forbid* converting videos / doing stuff that actually stressed the CPU? Nobody but AMD knows.Edited by Tippy - 1/24/12 at 8:18pm
