For the average gamer on OCN who isn't running dual/tri/quad gpu setup, won't notice a difference between these two cpu lines in several games @res =>1080p OC'd or not. And weather you want to believe it or not, the people at these events are either paid to be there by their review company or are pc junkies like ourselves. Not random dummies who don't know crap about computers and walk in. Even if marketing teams have no clue...still cant completely write off the results.
Actually you CAN write off the results because AMD refused to show exactly
what tests were done.
So this is basically some event that took place somewhere using some people, all set up by AMD, followed by showing "results" using some tests...I'm sorry what? This wasn't even news-worthy >_>
There is a reason benchmarks exist (you know, tests we actually have details about) and almost everything has pointed in favor of Intel so far. This "mystery blind test" only makes it harder to believe anything AMD has to say.Edited by Tippy - 1/24/12 at 8:27pm
