Fittings Won't Clear Waterblock

Having some issues with XSPC's 1/2x3/4 compression fittings with my EK FC580 waterblock as seen below.

The fitting by itself will not clear at all on the board side of the graphics card, so I'm looking at running either a spacer, 30, 45, or pair of 45 degree adapters to space the compression fitting up and get a decent tubing run between the CPU and GPU blocks. Fittings and adapters are expensive, so I'd like to maximize my chances of getting something that will line up properly.

You can try something like this: http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/accessories/fittings/adaptor-fittings/ek-spacer-g1-4-1-8mm-1.html

Oops, aye get teh extension. Also, have you thought about going into the block from the top and down the other side instead of both in/out same side?

That is my intent, I think I'm going to try using 30 degree adapters on both the outlet of gpu and inlet to cpu, since trying to run straight fittings will require a 2.7inch radius bend, which I'm not sure the tubing would do.
