Cool and social people have to deal with these depressed sociopaths. Good thing we can turn off the video game, but the game is who they are.
Young cheaters become adult cheaters. Our future looks bright eh?

I think the both of you are looking at this in a negative manner.

The purpose is not to encourage people to use hacks, that is what it appears to be, and what the majority of shallow people will jump on once they read the TITLE of this thread.

The purpose of these hacks is to point out the flaws of a system, in this case, PB and GGC. Since their ban wave hasn't gotten through the thick skulls of most people they're doing a Season 3, just to prove a point. If 150 bans aren't enough, they'll do 1500 bans, 150,000 bans, 1.5 million bans. Until the point gets through that these systems are FLAWED and DO NOT WORK because the people who wrote these systems did not put in real work to get it working like it should.

If 25%+ Jaguars made in 2006 had this problem then that is a significant number. You're comparing apples to oranges. My friends have had their iPods stolen, did they report it to the police? No, they went out and bought new ones. You can't possibly look at stealing a Jaguar and banning someone on BF3 possibly the same...stop choosing what you want to hear/read and look at the real picture. I'm done arguing with you, a problem that affected less than0.000025% of people (less since more people bought it after release) is hardly anything to worry about since they will fix it.

Your analogy is flawed and you're totally missing the point.

Assuming the Jaguar is stock and you have all your iPod music backed up on on your computer, you can go out and buy the exact same Jaguar or iPod and everything goes back to normal.

You can't go buy a BF3 account and have everything back to normal because every account is unique. You have to spend all those hours grinding back to where you were. If you spent 100s of hours to get to level 100 Colonel and suddenly got your account banned you can't spend $50 to buy a new key and expect everything to be normal. YOU START FROM ZERO and all those hours you put in are LOST. A normal person who say screw it and never touch BF3 again resulting in revenue lost for EA.

This isn't WoW where you can power level in 24hrs.

EA, PB, GGC needs to be on top of this or else poo will really hit the fan.

I was raging because my K/D ratio is always 2+ and in that server i was below 1 and could not kill him no matter what and believe it or not a good player can be killed.
Also one thing with BF3 if you play TDM (COD Style) the idea of having a squad that you can talk to kills the game. I was facing 4 squad members and they had perfect score is mean 0 deaths because they would revive each other and stick together. It feels almost like cheating.

Your right, I experienced this a few days ago on a 400 ticket Tehran Highway. The nano second I stuck my head out, BOOM headshot. Every single time. I barely got to see the reflection on his scope and I was dead.

These are smart hackers and tough to prove their hacking because their accounts look normal. On occasion they rage a round or two and leave the server leaving people to think they're really good players.

EA took too much control, and dice assumed it had no choice but to contract with EA, let it get out of their hands....and now we have this mess. If all of the social crap that battlelog is, didn't exist nobody would feel a loss. 3rd party sites are better anyway like bf3stats and gametracker(altho they were/are slow on the uptake.) BC2 towards the end of its life got really good at banning almost all cheaters out there except the few. GGC and PBBans and streaming admins got the rest.
tl;dr
Whatever it is, this needs to get fixed.
How loud do we have to shout before EA cares?

Loud enough to reach the top of the mountain, now that you purchased the game you are completely worthless to them at all until they need to convince you to buy something else.

forgive this, but why the hell would anyone want to create cheats/hacks to BF3 and then why do people cry so much about it? people seem to act like there's money involved (as in getting paid based on performance, not the money spent to buy the game) or this is real life. guess you have to play it to understand it? lol headscratch.gif

Ahh, thanks I listened to a couple of remixes on YouTube but couldn't find the mix he was using. AA cut off the first minute of it, no wonder I couldn't find it.

Punkbuster has been broken for a long time. Im surprised nobody has come up with a better system. Put that Origin scanner to use, scan for known hacks. IF Origin finds one, then have it automatically ban the account from BF3 permanently.

Hacking for fun is one thing, doing it on a server where people don't approve is irritating. But this is just immoral, intentionally framing people for doing something they didn't do for amusement or some deluded sense of justice, in this case trying to make a point to the developers and punkbuster that they have a problem that needs to be fixed.

BF3 is bad enough with the lack of in-game voip, hardware compatibility problems and battlelog instability, do we really need the players turning on eachother and making the game even worse?

Looks like Origin isn't working right now. Servers are down. Looks like they're being serious in fixing this issue or maybe the hackers actually destroyed BF3 community. People just don't have respect for people's things especially a company itself. Why do a thing like this? Good Riddance.

It's really a damn same, if you want to hack go play on unranked servers and go nuts.. That's how it was for the most part on BF2. Those with bootleg serials played on bootleg servers with all the hackers. thumb.gif
