I fail to see a problem here. That is not a significant number nor should it be a big deal. Any debate with that number would be laughed at.

I bet you would sing differently if it was you in one of those 150.

Feel bad for the victims. All I can do is watch and see how EA/DICE decide to handle this situation. I've been playing on the NCIX servers the past few days and so far they seem clean and hacker free.
At least i haven't seen any of the crazy twitch aimbots yet. I'd play on our servers if they had anyone on them.

What's the point of this comment? Hackers typically target popular games, especially shooters...

These guys make hacks for all kinds of reasons, and these days they're making a hella ton of money for their efforts. EA/DICE need to sort this out, or risk losing lots of potential revenue (in the form of future DLC & Future BF titles).

I wish there some other hacker group out there that could hack these websites and rob credit card information and such from anyone who purchased these hacks but oh well.

yeah. Linus announced it in one of his videos

@topic: It's normal for a game to be exploited like this, but EA/Origin/PunkBUster should at least provide an effort in protecting their customers and potentially save their revenues. If this keeps on, it's a loss for EA and the market will go down the drain.

Hacking can be fun, but making people mad on the Internet is not the way at all. Why spend thousands of dollars on a machine so you can hack people?

You are failing to see the big picture. IF you read the initial post about this on the AA forums. One of the very first things he states;
After discovering the loophole he synthesized a program in 5 (300 seconds) minutes to ban legit players. Okay now think about it, if this was so easy to create, then it was much much more easier to make additions to the program exporting a text file with all the server's players and initiate a batch of the command, in 300 more seconds you just banned an entire server. Okay if that was so simple you can do even a little bit more work and guess what happens? You can eventually make a script that just sits and pulls player lists all night and banning each of them in a matter of seconds. You could ban the entire BF3 community (assuming they're all running the ban streams on every server) in one night leaving your computer on.
Yeah it's kind of an issue.

That is ridiculous.

There must be a way to work out who is handing out all the bans?

If there is someone can run a program, pull them and sent Stutnex to their machine biggrin.gif
