sounds gd..i did notice with auto multi and auto voltage it still creeps to 1.4 i do beileve, so i set it at 3.4@1.3625v my load temps with prime are at 47-48c on core now, im gonna set my cpu-nb to 2600mhz@1.275v when i come back later to see if that will work.. or is that where i should start at?

No problem, normally you don't need extra cpu-nb voltage for 2600 but just try and find out.

Think I could get 2.8 CPU-nb with1.275v?
~1.4V for 3.6GHz is quite high voltage. Up on the NB voltage and lower Vcore voltage. Also, NB voltage helps with stability too, I believe. Overclock the NB frequency too, as this is quite important on Phenom.

Should do.

My nb voltage and frequency is on auto, would this be why I have to use such high vcore
For my overclocks? I'm at 3.4ghz@1.3625v now everything else is on auto/ default, turbo core is disabled and I have cool n quiet on also and seems to have no effect in overclocking.

hey guys i upped my cpu-nb settings, im at 2800mhz@1.3v and my cpu is at 3.4ghz@1.3625v.. does my cpu-nb voltage seem high for 2.8? i had it at 1.275v and upon reboot from saving to bios it didnt boot, so i powered off and turned it back on and it said Overclock failed, so i upped it to 1.3v and now im a t windows. is 1.3v too high?

im running prime atm and i notice that my HT link is now at 1600mhz? i think it use to be 2000mhz before i changed my cpu-nb to 2800mhz@1.3v heres a pic

still running prime for a hour now is my cpu-nb too high, and why is my HT link at 1600mhz now instead of 2000mhz?

I know nothing of NB frequency as i run Intel and i don't adjust it at all!
Only the voltage... hehe

Are you planning on getting a aftermarket cooler? 'cause my friends Phenom 965BE had the same problems of getting to those clocks (the voltage is way too high). But we got it to 3.8 in the end.. (Seriously lame clock for it)
