This leaves 125W for the rest of the system and any necessary headroom and that's a decent 350W unit.

Oh, cool. I will look into this combo too then.

Thanks for the help. rep+thumb.gif

No bother, I was in a rush when I last posted but to give you an idea of what a PSU like that can handle I have a HD4870 (160W TDP) and a Q6600 (95W) running on a 390W Chieftec PSU for over 6 months now with no problems. smile.gif

The VP350 is made by Delta for Antec.
Here is a review, I'd have said this in the other post but had to catch a bus.

Basically they spent less money on aesthetics in order to make a cheap PSU that's more reliable than other PSUs in its class.

Guys, are you not reading his post? His son is 5 and a half. He doesn't need a 460... You should be fine with an A4 APU, it's a cheap and simple dual core and the GPU is much better than the i3. Seeing how the prices are for those components you can easily save a couple hundred pounds (I think that's what we're dealing with)

Some people on here think that the budget always has to be met, it can be under from time to time to save the OP some money...

This^^ get a Llano A6 or something. You don't need a demanding computer for a 5 and 1/2 year old. Just saying
