considering i am not planing to do CF or sli would any of these be good?

Yeah either one of those would be fine, but to me, that Corsair 550w looks a bit overpriced since even after rebates, it's more expensive than the NZXT power supply I linked above.

About the motherboard, yes the Asus one can overclock, I have the same one and I overclocked my 2500k. The Asrock motherboard is good too, but why not save your self a few extra bucks with the Asus, they both have pretty much the same features.

Add the items you want to your wishlist on Newegg. Go to the Wishlist tab in Newegg, copy the URL, insert it here smile.gif Worked for me as far as I remember

Thinking about going for a i3 2100 to save money for a gtx 560ti 448core and a hdd or ssd. Any thoughts? I would get ib when it comes out and I save up for it. Get some money back by selling the i3 for $90 ish.

i think your looken pretty solid, 448 is the best budget card avail right now.

one thing to consider is that an i5 2500 will likely not bottleneck your system, not sure about an i3, so you wouldnt really see any performance gains for gaming (on most games) by upgrading the cpu later.

unless you plan to use the rig for another purpose that is cpu intensive you may want to skip the i3/ivy upgrade and just get a cpu that will keep up with your gcard from the go. im pretty sure the i3 would leave you a little bit bottlenecked since i see so many i5/i7 gaming builds on OCN.
