When do I need to be concerned about my 2700k bottlenecking ?

Thread Starter
I have a 2700k clocked at 4.9Ghz on a p8Z68 Deluxe. I just bought a pair of 6950s unlocked to 6970s that I will be crossfiring. Do I need to be concerned about bottlenecking? What if I was to add a 3rd card for Tri-Fire?

You can't add a third card, as your motherboard doesn't support it. But there's no need to worry, even if you went with crossfired 7990's (when they come out).

You will be covered with that CPU for at least 2 generations of GPUs, don't worry!

I really could not imagine being able to bottleneck this chip, but just wanted to check. These are the answers I were hoping for. thumb.gif
