Kinzu v2 Pro mouse wheel rattle

Thread Starter
Just got my Kinzu v2 Pro today and I think it has a defect, the mouse scroll wheel rattles whenever I move it. It's extremely annoying as the weight shifts when you swipe the mouse, has anyone else had this problem or did I just get a bad one? I made a quick video of it.

Saw that on some kinzu v1 too, like on the newer ones going after serial numbers.
Maybe they do it on purpose, to prevent something else or make the middle mousebutton lighter to press.
It was too annoying anyway, so i would send it back and try another sample.
If it still happens, you can fix it if you want by thickening the scrollwheel-end which sits in the mechanical encoder and is too loose.

Happens on both of my Kinzu V2 Pro editions. I never considered it a problem though, just a very minor annoyance.

Would that involve me taking it apart? I have never taken a mouse apart before, I don't want to break it and lose the warranty.

Happened on mine also.

I just put a small piece of paper in mine, just like in the picture. The wheel will stay in place and it won't be able to move sideways. I think it has no purpose, it's just a flaw in the production.

But how did you remove the mouse skates in order to get to the screws? And how did you put them back without them falling out?

Buy better ones and replace them in the process? =)
