Prime is worst case, most games will never hit that kind of temp.

not really..gotta get the rams and cpu/nb right first..then you have a stable base..save that profile..move on to
the next thing..it's a method..

:eek.gif: NO NO those temps are NOT OK..you have to keep amd chips under 55c

get a Sunbeamtech Core-Contact 120

:thinking.gif: you can probably do all your rams and nb n stuff..then a 3.6 or so OC safely..turn up the fan profile in BIOS
Check your cooler mount!

no i mentioned below 55c and ideal would be in the 40's biggrin.gif

I thought you had a closed loop water cooler? You need to double check to make sure its installed correctly as in the thermal paste is set properly.

Im still thinking its gpu related, something in bf3 or amd drivers just isnt right. Even if the cpu is a bottleneck to the gpu's the point is my gtx570 plays it fine on 1080p ultra with msaa off, blur off.

Here is a link with an i5 guy having issues with i think your same card, although he isnt on crossfire

I would look into the frio possibly, i never ran it but have heard good things about it, I think the v8 looks meaner though biggrin.gif
