Increase CPU Multiplier until you get to a suitable overclock change Voltages.
Then muck around with CPU/NB Frequency thumb.gif

yeah i kno its me.. i find its the only way i can get a stable OC' i was stable at 3.4@1.362v my CPU/NB@2600mhz@1.3v and my ram was at 9-9-9-24@1600mhz@1.60v it passed prime for a hour test, but when i played BF3 or APB reloaded it had poor performance it felt like studdering sometimes, or not at all sometimes, but playin BF3 i got a BSOD of BCCode x101 and theres no way i shuold have to up vcore at 3.4@1.362v

BF3 has all kinds of issues with running smooth from what I hear so that might not be a good judge. If you want more than 3.4GHz, youre gonna need more than 1.36V. Youll need to get into the 1.4's to get some good clocks.

yeah i understand that now.. im at 1.4v@3.5Ghz.. thats as high as im gonna go on my stock fan.. with cool n quiet on' now i gotta mess around with my cpu/nb

why is it sometimes when i run hyper pi 16m to test a setting' it sometimes goes quick and shows some loops it does and my cores are at 100% except for one..? when this happens i usually stop it and restart it' but does it happen to anyone else?

Why not invest in a better fan? Hyper 212+'s can be had for a song and a dance and can handle some very serious overclocks. Im almost at 4 gig with my Hyper.

The Enermax ETS-T40 is better in every way for the same price as a 212+.  It's significantly quieter with the use of a Twister bearing fan and competes with the likes of the Corsair H80.
