I don't..necessarily have loop plans yet because I don't know what hardware I really need. I'd like to prevent overkill if possible, just to save some dollars, but I'd rather overdo it and be able to get everything I can out of my CPU/GPU than to skimp. But I am also on a budget.

Anyway, at this point..I'm open to loop plans because I have no idea. Maybe Res/pump > Front Rad > CPU? > Top Rad (lol) > GPU? Well, that sounds awful. I'm really new to this. Or I could put a 120 at the back and do Res/Pump > Front Rad > CPU > Back 120 > GPU > pump/res?

I'm after 5.0 on my processor and as much as I can get out of my GPU. Those are my real goals.

Now I don't know how crazy you want to get with mods but with a little metal bending that stealth will fit up top with the fans inside

That's what I was thinking and I am absolutely unafraid of modding

Unless you absolutely want dual 240 rads, I would not worry about putting one on the front of the case. An RS240 or Stealth paired with a standard thickness 120 on the bottom will cool both the CPU and 6950 easily.

Ok this is what i'm thinking- mod the top rad mounting tabs and put the rad in the top/fans inside. Remove the lower HD tray only and cut out and place a 120 there like the wise Angrybutcher just said

Also I would go with the stealth or XSPC EX240 instead of the RS

121x35x277mm (WxDxH) RS
121 x 35.5 x 275mm (WxDxH) EX (EX works good with 1500 RPM fans)

Shouldn't need to mod the bottom. Can't you fit a standard 120 rad next to the power supply? He would lose that area for the reservoir though. Another option, use the existing bottom hole for a 120 rad and remove the lower hdd tray to put the res there. No modding needed on the bottom thumb.gif

Yeah it's going to be a tight fit with the power supply cable there. I hope you have a modular one!

I love you both, this advice is fantastic.

Of course my PSU isn't modular - I'm SO. JEALOUS. of anyone that has one, but I don't. I do have the 120mm cutout next to the PSU - I...might be able to get a rad or res there, didn't even think about it (is putting it next to the CPU that bad of an idea? tongue.gif). But if I did that then I *should* be able to fit the res/pump where the bottom HDD cage is. Then the Stealth (yes?) up top, push/pull?

Oh, and is the kit out now? I only ask because it's a pretty sizable discount on the block and fittings...
