Razer Mamba 2012 firmware v.1.07.01?

Hello everyone! I decided to check if there was any new updates for the Razer Mamba 2012, and I noticed that there is one! My question is, does anyone know what this particular firmware update changes/fixes? Razer doesn't specify what the firmware update does. Heres a link to Razer's page:

http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=759&nav=0,76,171,172,173

The previous version was v1.04, which was supposed to fix the wireless disconnecting issue, well, at least for me it did. Also, I'm pretty sure that Razer's 4G mice already have that "Dynamic DPI Scaling" crap already, so I wouldn't want to update the firmware if its going to install anything else. I'm thinking that Razer might update the page later with more info. If anyone knows or finds any info on it, I would really appreciate it!

I've updated from 1.05 to 1.07 today, haven't really noticed anything different. My guess is that it has something to do with general stability/connectivity issues, just a wild guess though. I would very much like to see the release notes.

Just a heads up to everyone, I installed the newer firmware on my Razer Mamba 2012, and I didn't notice anything different. One thing I did notice was that I couldn't use the shortcut to instantly switch to other profiles (for those of you who don't know, you can switch profiles by pressing both mouse buttons and the scroll wheel button at the same time.) and that is someting that I use constantly, so this was kind of a huge deal breaker for me. I don't think Razer intended to remove that, so I guess I'll wait to see if this firmware update gets improved sometime in the future. As for now, I have downgraded back to v1.04 and everything is running smoothly. thumb.gif

Quick update. Razer finally updated their website. The changes include:

Release Log:

- Mouse Firmware: v1.07.01.
- Dock Firmware: v1.07.00.

1. Sensor calibration is set to OFF by default.
2. Made sure that default settings are loaded when creating a new profile.
3. Fixed issue in wireless mode where scroll wheel doesn't work immediately if left idle for sometime.
4. Fixed LED issues: Inconsistent toggling effect during restart and switch profile, blinking effect on restart.

Note: Compatible with Razer Mamba 2012 only.

I''m going to give it another try. Hopefully the shortcut to switch profiles inst removed this time.

Unfortunately, the whole profile switching thing was still not present in this firmware. I don't have any of the problems that this firmware is supposed to fix, so I went back down to 1.04 again. rolleyes.gif

So, guys, did you solve the problem with profile switching? Cheaper Roccat Kone+ mouse has this function, but looks like these stupid razer guys don't care about people, they need only money.

I "fixed" it by downgrading back to v.1.04. Whenever it has the pulsing glitch, I just switch the profile and it goes away. tongue.gif

I assigned an auto load of profile on start up of the game. It works fine, but when i quit the game, it still has that profile, it does not auto change when i exit to my default profile. How do i make it change back to default profile when i quit? Can v.1.04. fix that?
