Need new wireless router (because Linksys blows) - Page 3

I would go with the second option, I would say the trendnet router, just because I have one, and have had no problems with it. Never really heard of the buffalo one.

Or you could go balls to the wall and get one of the new Beta wireless N routers. If that doesnt get you the coverage you need, then i guess youre stuck with repeaters for awhile.

i like d-Link. Don't get Netgear or Linksys, they really suck.

Thread Starter
I ended up keeping the Airlink router and got an Airlink repeater since the Linksys AP would not work under repeater mode with the new router. While coverage did not increase greatly, I did notice less deadspots inside the house. While I can't compare this particular Airlink with other MIMO routers, I have been enjoying a much stronger signal; one of the reasons my Linksys would "die" was because the downstairs PC in my brother's room would overload the network (too much file sharing and CS:S). Another good thing about this particular router is that you can upgrade antennas (thing you can't do on most MIMO routers), and I have a pair of 10dbi onmi antennas gathering dust in the garage. And Airlink products are cheap too.
