Hmm. I might even go with a 570 for further Future proofing if it drops in price ( I'll buy the card only in April ) Any suggestions ?

Think I will stick with the 560 ti. The 570 is too expensive and probably won't drop that much. 70-30 on the 2GB version.

I only said it because if he decides to get a better monitor say a month or 2 from now than it would better to have the 2gb card vs the 1gb card. lol

I won't buy a bigger monitor. I don't even have the 20 inch one. I'm still stuck with a crappy 7 year old 15 inch 1024x768 LCD. But I am still inclined for the 2 gb version because it may perform better with future games that will require VRAM.

Dont listen to the people saying 1gb is enough.

I play on 1360x768, and have a hd6950 2gb unlocked.

There are multiple games i cant even max out on that resolution @ 60fps, and i see many games using over 1gb of vram.

In 2009-2010 the rule with sub 1080p 1gb is enough was good.. but its 2012 now people...

1gb+ is a minimum if you want decent graphic settings, no mather the resolution
