Nvidia GeForce GT440 Overclocking.

Thinking of buying an updated model, but at the moment I'm trying to OC this card so I can run Battlefield 3 on it a little smoother.

Currently I can run it on High settings with around 30-60fps range, but only in windowed mode (Which is a pain in the ass)...


GPU Specs in-case nobody knows..

GeForce GT440 1GB GDDR5

Super Alloy Power allowing 30 degree cooler operations, 15% performance boost and a 2.5 x better lifespan...

Does anyone know what I can crank it up to without killing it? Maybe somebody has some experience with this card...

Honestly, I'm a little scared of breaking something, so thought I would get advice off you guys first.

Use MSI AfterBurner .. don't worry ... it is really safe .... as i'm planning to buy this gpu too .... can play battlefield 3 on high with 30 -60fps ? sweet !! Maybe after you overclock it a bit , you might can run battlefield 3 on ultra setting ... maybe 30-50 or 30 -60 fps constant ... biggrin.gif

Increase the clock speed 10MHz same as the others ( shader clock and memory clock )
If some artifacts shows up ( different colour dot ) lower the clock by 5Mhz ...... don't worry ...... as your gpu running on 35 degree celcius ....
35 degree celcius is really good for stock cooling temp.


And also , install some high pressure case fan inside your casing ... ( 120mm or 80mm is recommended )

Buying a vga cooler is also recommended as it can help lower the temp so much ......
