Used to be a known fact.

That's why I am asking for a freaking image lol. There is only a small amount of non-ref cards being compatible with msi voltage control.

I have been told that you can also flash the bios on the card with something like ASUS bios, that is suppose to help with OC. Although I tried to flash my cards (XFX and ATI) the flash failed on both cards and it was a huge pain in the ass to fix.

Not needed any more and won't change anything with non-ref cards. Plus you risk to brick your card :S

I tried:
UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1

Still no luck. I found this GUIDE for Unlocking MSI AfterBurner 2.1 Beta 7, but is it safe to use ? It's beta + i have to change some mysterious option in register which purpsoe is black magic for me.

Is this picture ok to determine whether it's ref or non-ref ?

Yea try that guide. Though, I am wondering why MSI isn't unlocked... Weird I am using 2.2.0 beta 10 and I haven't done more than you!

MSI afterburner is an antisuccess for me. The newest beta + GUIDE for Unlocking MSI AfterBurner didn't work. I'm trying AMD GPU Clock Tool which seems to have working voltage option. I see what i can do with this.

EDIT:
actually it doesn't have voltage control bar but i can choose 1.212V which is i guess better than "stock"

EDIT:
while i was testing AMD GPU Clock Tool, i closed CCC and MOM (some CCC associate) so AMD overdrive won't interfere. Just a nickname was absolutely right about not using furmark, Skyrim on ultra settings never uses 100% of GPU. Because of that, i was able to play skyrim on 900mhz+ but it eventually crashed like the "old times". Didn't see much difference really in performance between 930 and 850mhz. When it crashed i rebooted pc so i get back ccc and mom (and got bsod in the process). Conclusions: no more OC thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif. There's one more thing, furmark still shows 1.212V so i guess this is my "stock"!

Did you try my version? 2.2.0 beta 10 http://downloads.guru3d.com/MSI-Afterburner-2.2.0-Beta-10-download-2839.html looks like there is also a beta 11 version! Would try first with the Beta 10, should work man.

If it is not worki then you could try to check on the web with your product code if there is a version working for it!

Start in this thread. It's a great read. I got my 5770 to 125% oc with it. Gonna tackle the 5870 when I can manage the cooling.
