i have a ASUS VE248Q 24inch monitor and i was doing a removal of the bezel and the white ribbon cable that connects the actually lcd to the board pins sort of bent and i get a very fuzzy off color display. i ts a simple ribbon cable i can remove and replaced. does anyone have a idea where i can find one?

Are you able to re-solder the the bent pin? It being bent doesn't necessarily mean it's dead... I know it sounds like a stretch but maybe try contacting ASUS support. If it's out of warranty you can still ask to buy that specific part from their warehouse.
