Sounds like a dumb question, BUT, i have a antec 450w PSU, THIS one. I am running a q9550, 1 hd, my 560ti and about 5 120mm yate loons. Still think its safe to overclock?

What are you looking to OC? the Q9550 or GTX 560ti? or both?

The worse that will happen is BSOD or crashes during operation. You'll soon find out if your taxing your PSU.

In the long run, you may be best to look at something in the 600 - 800w range to cater for future expansion.

Thanks for the reply. I am wanting to oc both but to be safe was only going to do CPU until i get a new psu. I was kinda figuring my q9550 at stock might be bottlenecking me a little(atleast according to vantage) as im pulling about 2-3k less in GPU score as others(at stock for the 560ti)

You could try and get to 4ghz and see how that goes.

Shouldnt be an issue with a Q9550 thumb.gif
