Hi there
I bought this little wireless USB adapter to go with my new build, because theres no way i can set up a wired connection for it. But the problem is, its so unreliable.

It just seems to allow a connection when it pleases. For example, i can just be browsing the web, then the network usage on windows task manager will flat-line and i wont get any sort of connection. When im in windows task manager, i can watch its link speed go from 36mbps down to 1mbps for no reason what so ever. My computer is completely stationairy with the adapter plugged into the back and the wireless router in the next room, yet it still has massive variations in connectivity.

Can anyone explain this or suggest things i can do to improve it?
Thanks

Also, this is the router.

That is an example of it. I was trying to connect to facebook, it said it had a 36mbps link speed at that moment in time, yet it was still not loading anything343

Ive tried updating to the latest drivers, then reinstalling, but still no improvement.
