I wouldnt hold your breath regarding price drops. If you leave it too long, your buyer will move on...

What model/how much?

TBH, Don't hold out for 5 bucks or something and then take 2 weeks to get the same offer you got, or even less. Unless it wasn't a very good offer, but you were fairly unspecific so Im sorry i can't be of more help frown.gif

If your planning on selling it to buy a new one, that's kinda pointless... in that case i'd hang on to it.

$180 for my 560 Ti.
Is it worth to wait and add another $150 or $200 for 570 or 580 price drop?

Im crossing my fingers for a April/May release of Kepler and a price drop to go with it.. But um.. yea..

I didnt hear of price drop in the 6000 series when the 7000 came out.. so what makes you think the 570/580 will get one?

Wishful thinking I guess. I never thought of it like that actually...

The price on amd pII 965 B.E. is almost identical what it is now compared to two years ago when I bought one. These "price drops" people speak of really dont happen on such expensive components. I would rather pay an extra 20 bucks, maybe even 30 or 40, than try to hold out on some crappy equipment for 3 or 4 months waiting for a price drop. But thats just me. The only area I have seen real legit price drops lately is memory and SSD's have slowly but surely getting cheaper, but thats just because is so new and technology is improving.
