Looking for assistance with a new logo/concept

Hello all, long-time viewer/guest, 1st time poster. Reduced the size of my post, so if you want to learn more about me, view: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I used to do modding/build my own PCs, but I'm afraid the last time I had the chance to complete a project was back when I spent $$$ on the 1st AMD 64b processor, so that's been...what, about 8 years ago? Was reviewing some of the sponsored rigs and had to register here, it got my itch going again and I realized how much I miss case modding.

Enough about me, and I apologize for a request being my 1st post, but I'm looking for help creating a new "trademark" logo. I bought a few gently-used cases yesterday and have been planning out several designs in my head and even have a potential project sponsor for a build (benefit of having close ties to some of my suppliers at work), but I'd really like to complete a case/system for myself first to get myself back in the game and remind myself what I can do (Intermediate).

What I've used for years is what's currently my avatar, a friend helped me with it originally, but recently I've found it's used as the logo for a frisbee team in Canada and a Hockey team here in the USA by the name of Furious George. I've been trying to figure out a simple design similar to my current that has 2-3 colors and would easily be etched/laser/water/jigsaw/whatever cut into a side panel. I guess I have a mind block because I've used this current logo for so long.

So, if any of you graphics wizards/extremely creative thinkers could help me think of or create something similar to my avatar (PhuriousGeorge theme), I would be indebted to you.

Dug around and found a full image:
300

Thanks for your time,
PG

Oh, gotcha. Yeah, it's kind of sad I've had so much trouble for so long trying to come up with something simple. Just thought I'd throw it out there since there seems to be some brilliant creativity in this bunch.

I actually really like it. I think it's not bad as it is. Infact, it's very good, haha.

The only thing you could add is some text, imo.

At the top : something like : " 4.5 GHZ? "

At the bottom : something like : " Child's Play"

Disclaimer: I'm not very funny and you can probably think of something better, but that is just begging for some text above and below, that's all I know smile.gif

Thanks for you input Trinnd. My main concern is the image itself. I very much like what I'm using currently, I just don't want to run into issues now or later because others are using the same image.

I've had several thoughts in the past few months on how to start my own side business in an effort to work from home. I'm a single father of a young kid and it's tough being away from my kid 11-13+ hours a day and childcare is expensive and hard to find for those kinds of hours. Just want to make sure if I was ever able to turn anything into a small business, I don't run into some trademark lawsuit or something of the sort, I love my online identity and would carry it over to my own business if I can get anything going (more than likely 2+ years out). That's really my primary concern. I'm not sure if my college buddy stole the image or actually came up with it himself and I'm not sure it could be proven one way or the other. Like I said, I've used what I have currently for over 8 years as my online identity and absolutely love how simple the design is while representing the name
