H100 correct stock fan speed?

Thread Starter
Hey guys

just doing some benchmarking with my new 3930k and i was wondering why my H100 will not go above 2156 rpm for its fans. Are the stock fans limited to this speed? the corsair website states that on high performance i should be getting 2500 rpm.

thx

The speed wire from the H100 only reports the pump RPM, not fan speed. The pump should be running at full speed at all times, though the rpm reading from it may vary. Your 21** rpm pump reading is within specs as well (2000 RPM +/- 200). Nothing to worry about smile.gif
