You might still be able to get warranty from the manufacturer, very slim chance but you never know. But if you try soldering it, then you are very very unlikely to get warranty if something goes wrong. At this moment, it is probably broken. If I were you, I would send it in. If warranty is no go, I would then attempt to fix it.

I really have no idea, never had to do any RMA's to any company, thanfully. They might just overlook it. Expensive card you got there, and I know it sucks to break something that expensive, but in reality it is your fault, so I wouldn't lie to them. Just send it in and see what happens.

I know the german company aqua something has one, they were the first to release it.

I would put it back on air, see if it works, and stress test the hell out of it if it does. If it fails, I would send it in and claim it doesnt work and see how far they examine it. I bet as long as the damage doesnt stand out, they may replace it.

I did the exact same thing to my gtx 295 when installing the waterblock for it.

Seriously pissed me off. Your best bet is to play dumb and try and RMA it. Kinda a question of morals, but that seems to be the only option.

Morals go out the window when dealing with money.
