I always let Windows 7 align the drive for me and this is how it always sets it up.

Works perfectly.

I asked Plextor when the M3 Pro line will be available. They're releasing them on the 15th. Should be a few more days after that when they'll be online for sale.

Just overall faster, I think faster than the Corsair Performance Pro as well...not sure. But honestly, there will be no difference b/w that and the older model in use.

Higher IOPS from what I've seen. Other than that, looks to be mostly the same hardware as the M3 version.

hey guys, just wanted to inquire about my lousy 4k read/writes with this drive, ask for your opinions. im running an alienware m17xr3 i7 2.0-2.8. this is running off a fresh install after installing drivers/windows updates

really just wondering what i should do here, seems terrible compared to the other benches in here

That's your problem, you are using a laptop, laptops have power saving features that bottle neck SSDs. Other wise you should be fine.

Yea, I am not sure on exactly the thing is that slows them on laptops is, but you should be fine.
