Want some more opinions

Thread Starter
I am looking a for a few opinions about the best thing I can get to make my pc better.
I have ~$100 I can use towards it.
Right now I am thinking of getting a new motherboard for eventual Tri-SLI/Crossfire

I don't want GPU suggestions as I am intending on waiting til Nvidia and AMD are done releasing cards to see what is best.

In case any of you who replied is wondering I think for cooling I am going to go with H70 and 12mm fan @ 133 cfm.
Gives me the larger reservoir capacity too possibly use with gpu water cooling, as suggested, and is still within budget. Also considering I was planning on buying a fan for it anyways, saves me having another random extra fan lying around lol.

The best thing you can get for $100? An SSD, without question. This will make the most noticeable speed improvement on your computer in my opinion.

Love the board choice and for the cooler I'd look at the H80. I provided you a link to it below.

I would say a H60 because there is barely a 1 degree difference and a $30 price difference.

If you're planning to do all that you'll need a bigger water cooler. Something like H80 or H100 so you'll have the GPUs in the loop.

Do you have any recommendations?

Thank you, its seems to be the only board with 1156 socket, 1600+ RAM, and 3 PCI-E 16 slots.

Nice find on the temp chart, very useful.
Also I guess going with an h60 saves me a little cash, figured the h40 + fans would be cheaper lol.

I am not really planning on water cooling for GPUs.
I probably won't have all the GPUs until sometime next year in any case.
I do appreciate the input though.
