so i have to buy a new cpu?, will that solkve this problem?
and can u advice me a good gamer cpu???

You would need at least 500$ investment for the kind of upgrade he is talking about. New mobo, new CPU, new video card. No sense in slapping CPU in your motherboard, it can only support 775 (old socket). If you do want to shell out some cash i would recommend making a thread asking for a for recommendations for mobo, gpu, cpu under a 500$ budget. Overclocking will help you out a bit, but even if you did somehow manage to fully overcome the CPU bottleneck (which is very doubtful), your GPU would only bottleneck you in a lot of games. Upgrading your system gives you better performance now and some "future proofing" that overclocking your current CPU, or replacing just your current CPU won't match.

anyways, there aren't any good cpus for games for socket 775?

Nothing that i would invest in now. Processor would cost you way more than it's worth, if you could even get one. Performance wouldn't be anything amazing either, many advancements have greatly increased the amount of data that 1155 and 1366 processors can throughput, even with the same clock speed and core count as your current one. (ie: an i3 at 2.5 ghz is much more powerful than your E3XX at 2.5 ghz)

your cpu should be fine, my brother has a e6400 running at 3ghz with a 8800gt and can play tf2 maxed out on 2x aa at 1080p. Can play crysis at medium-high, and skyrim runs perfectly fine medium-high as well. your chips is pretty much just as fast as the e6400 clock for clock and will probably OC higher as well. What games are you trying to play? How much ram do you have? Something doesnt seem right about your pc, it should have no problem with a 9600.

Your brother must have a hell of a card because my e6400 @ 3.0 ghz and 8800 gt struggle very hard to play crysis 1 @ 1080p....on low.

Either way, like i said, you can try to OC your chip a bit more to see if that helps. I doubt it will give you too big of a boost.
