Adding graphics card to the XSPC rasa 750 rs240 loop?

Hi guys, I need some advice. I just ordered a full tower case(bitfenix colossus:D) and a gtx 580 classified hydro copper to replace my haf 922 and gtx 460s.

Can I add the 580 into my current water loop? Will the 240mm rad be sufficient to keep my cpu and gpu cool? If not, can I add another rad to the current loop? Buy a 360mm rad to replace the 240mm one?

or

Build another loop just for the gpu?

or

Buy a corsair h100 for the cpu and use the rasa 750 rs240 just for the gpu?

thanks.

The RS240 is not made for GPU+CPU solutions, but it would probably work. Just don't expect amazing temperatures. I would recommend just buying another radiator and sticking that right into the loop. You don't need to make a new loop, that wouldn't be cost efficient, neither is buying a H100.

Grab a RX240 if not better and add it directly into the loop if your looking for optimal cooling.

k, I ordered a rx rad and been doing some planning.

The order the liquid will flow. That should be optimal?

res/pump > rad#1 > cpu > rad#2 > gpu > back to res/pump

Also, when installing the videocard. which way can the flow of liquid enter the gtx 580 hydro copper?

Loop order looks good.

Also, it doesn't really matter which way the water is going, as long as it's getting in that block and doing it's job. thumb.gif
