Just run new beta firmware updater, software hasn't been updated yet, there's no need to uninstall it.

Update 2:

Fixes reversal of Angle Snapping Problem. We are looking at trying to lower LOD, but currently feel sensor stability & accuracy is most important.

Oh, yes... I go to test...

I have quickly tested a new firmware 61 on a gamepad SteelSeries NP+, 800 dpi, 500&1000 USB polling-rate.

Enotus Mouse Test v0.1.4
Resolution: 800 dpi
Polling speed: 987 Hz
Max speed: 4.49 m/s
Precision: 99.6 %

Enotus Mouse Test v0.1.4
Resolution: 800 dpi
Polling speed: 496 Hz
Max speed: 4.16 m/s
Precision: 99.8 %

Nice!!!

LoD I didn't test. I don't want to tear off a fix tape.

This is just the fix of the angle snapping? I take it, that it should perform the same as v60 otherwise? Also I'd like to inquire about the DPI settings, will you guys be implementing the 3200 dpi step when you release a new driver?

I tried the 61 firmware on the spawn and I advise people not to use it. It made my spawn go track at a counter-clockwise angle. When I moved my cursor up it went to the left and when I moved my cursor down it went to the right. After switching back to the 60 FM, this issue still happens but at a lesser extend and less frequently. I can reproduce this issue whereas it happened almost all the time on 61. My trials included a few mousepads such as goliathus control/speed, allsop and talent.

While it happened in intervals on the control mousepad, it was still there. I don't know if hard pads will exhibit this behavior or not but it's certainly apparent on cloth.

Is there anyway to take off all of the angle snapping? As much as I love the spawn, I still wish there was a way cm storm could completely take away the minimal amount of prediction on the 3090 to compete with the razer 3g/3.5g in that regard. Maybe that is just a pipedream? : p

For the record, I used 800 dpi and 1000hz for my testing. Since this setting is native on this firmware, I assume it would appear on other settings but I don't care to test those without a reason. wink.gif

I briefly tried this, but didn't see any issue like this
