Me too.

In my opinion angle snapping is light when enabled and none when disabled.

After switching back to the 60 FM, this issue still happens but at a lesser extend and less frequently. I can reproduce this issue whereas it happened almost all the time on 61. My trials included a few mousepads such as goliathus control/speed, allsop and talent.
While it happened in intervals on the control mousepad, it was still there. I don't know if hard pads will exhibit this behavior or not but it's certainly apparent on cloth.
Is there anyway to take off all of the angle snapping? As much as I love the spawn, I still wish there was a way cm storm could completely take away the minimal amount of prediction on the 3090 to compete with the razer 3g/3.5g in that regard. Maybe that is just a pipedream? : p
For the record, I used 800 dpi for my testing. Since this setting is native on this firmware, I assume it would appear on other settings but I don't care to test those without a reason. wink.gif

I just tried a few games with fw 61 and it works pretty much like fw 60 (well for me anyway) and I just switch angle snapping back off from the control panel. Works fine so far.

The new firmware seems to have fixed all the tracking issues minus some slight angle snapping, but unfortunately i'm still unable to come back to this mouse due to the extremely high lift off. Shame too, as the shape was absolutely perfect for me. Lower the lift off a bit and i'll be back in a heart beat.

what about the xornet Carter ? all i want is high perfect control speed on dark colored mousepad , stable 500hz and angle snapping disabled, don't care much about LOD.

tried v52 and 55, still skips VERY easily on talent - zowie g-tf speed etc

I've been heading to the CM Storm site quite a bit for new firmwares on the Spawn and toyed with the idea of getting a Xornet. Turns out that the Xornet's firmware is now at v7X.

http://www.cmstorm.com/en/products/peripherals/Xornet/

I've been trying to see if anyone has tried out the firmware but since the mouse is no longer $20 at Microcenter I passed and went with the Spawn.

The LoD on the Spawn with v60 is decent (MX518 levels) and some conformable teflon tape near the eye does the trick.

I want to say 3 but I don't have any CD's on hand.

I'll stick with v60 for now since it's fine as it is. Angle snapping reversal isn't too important and I'll hold out for the final firmware and updated software. With the tape fix the LOD is 1.5 - 2mm.

thanks for the heads up, I installed the v75 firmware, still skips on dark colored surfaces, settled with a artisan hien value RED for now, perfect control and malfunction speeds are tolerable, gawd i forgot how much i love this shape, just ordered an artisan hayate L and a spawn mouse, next weekend is gonna be epic biggrin.gif
