Thread Starter
it's interesting that they are using the same sensor, yet sticking with 400/800/1800/3500, rather than what the spawn is now using which is 800/1600/4000 (3200?) Perhaps they will be releasing another firmware for the spawn that uses the similar DPI steps as the recon.

Probably because CES was in January, before the 60x versions of the firmware changed DPI steps.

Are there any work being done on the slight angle snapping still present after disabling angle snapping in the CP? I made a graphic in this thread to describe it: http://www.cmstorm.com/forum/showpost.php?p=13263&postcount=344

Hey there, just got the mouse and it feels really good so far!!

The one question is; I just updated the firmware to V61 and should I see the 4000 DPI option on the sofware? Because the options are still 800/1800/3500 on the menu.

Other than that, my Sensor Firmware Ver. is 107 and MCU Firmware Rev is 61.

Thanks for the help!

No the firmware update doesn't affect the software.

Just for the sake of correctness and to avoid confusion :

Firmware is software too.

Correct statement should be :

The firmware update doesn't affect the drivers.

So... the 800/1600/3500 is actually 800/600/4000 now, even it hasn't changed in the software interface?

Yes, except it was 800, 1800, 3500. Firmware 61 changed the dpi steppings to 800, 1600, 4000.

Thanks for the help!

The mouse feels really good overall on my Qck Heavy, the only problem was little bit high LOD imo. But after applying the tape fix, that problem seems solved for good.

The exceptional shape is just amazing for a small handed claw/fingertip hybrid players like me.
