ATTN: CMStorm Spawn Mouse owners - Page 26

I have started to mod the spawn... right now: wmo shell m1/m2 buttons only. About 70 gramm + perfect lod (fw 60). The pcb fits also into the logitech rx250 shell.... fyi. peace. smile.gif

Edit: fits not into the razer viper/krait shell! D:

I temporary use a tapе fix for low LOD - http://www.overclock.net/t/1206176/attn-cmstorm-spawn-mouse-owners/50#post_16613490

Tried that, didn't seem to make much of a difference.

LOD depends on the area glued. The greater the taped area sensor, the smaller the LOD.

I use the 60 fw intentionally, since it >feels< (with the reversed anglesnapping off option disabled) best to me, compared with the other spawn firmware versions performance/feel wise. Although i actually prefer anglesnapping disabled, like the abyssus (very first version - which jitters/jumps on goliathus alpha and qck pads) or the wmo. The 3090-lens z-position in the wmo is a bit higher compared to the spawn, thats why it feels near to perfect to me. Meanwhile i have exchanged the shell with the logi rx250. I call it the rx 3090. Lod is identical to original spawn and the weight is @ 60.80 gramm! The only downside (not sure, preference), the sensor horizontal position is not "in the middle", closer to the thumb.

I updated to fw61, and was not convinced, the lod was annoying, but tape fix is really awesome. I recommend everyone to try tapefix with fw61 if lod is a problem. I have >1 cd in lod

Left and right mouse button work as they should. Scroll/mouse 3 -pins are still present, i just dont need them (but for the case...).
Contra: - the Sensor is not centered
- lod could be lower (fw 60/61 using now). fw 32 is adequate (lod wise) but the rest is not cool ...
