ATTN: CMStorm Spawn Mouse owners - Page 29

Carter, thanks for the shares and apperciate your guys work here and in general.

I was wondered how much the performances will be worst if you guys will release a Low LoD ver of the F/W 61?
Currently unable to tape fix my CM Spawn and I just like the tracking of the newer firmware, after I switch back to the old low LoD firmware it feels alot worst feeling wise (accurate, tracking quality).

Kudos to you, CMCarter and the CM Storm team.

Absolutely the best customer care/service I have seen for a long time. Keep it coming!

PS: Carter can you please make contacts with European distributors, that we want CM Storm keyboards too in Turkey!! Our distributor is just giving me crap about "The keyboards don't have Turkish layout, so we won't bring them here". Is there nothing, we, Turkish customers can do about that?

Cheers!

Got a lot of respect for CM Storm reading this thread and Carter's responses.

Carter; when you perfect the sensor firmware, how about putting it in a commonly loved ambidextrous shape, such as the logitech G1 or something similar? I'd order one immediately.

I must admit it feels like they're the only brand I've seen in a long time that does really care about doing things right and fixing what doesn't work, at least when it comes to firmware/drivers.

Very impressive, but you will have to keep that level for some time until CM Storm gets the recognition it deserves.

That concerns me too, but for a different reason. Most retailers around here only sell Logitech and Microsoft, some even sell Razer or Roccat, but CM Storm products are impossible to get, unless you order them on-line.

If CM Storm had a bit more of presence, I would've already have bought one, as it was on my list for a long time, but I can't just order them online to lose one morning waiting for it at home. Instead, I ended up getting a G400, which wasn't as suited to me.

Afaik they already have an ambidextrous mouse planned and due to release.

Thanks for the heads up on that, I'm excited to check it out.
Good ambi shape, good switches, good sensor, good software support and sub 100g I'm a definite buyer.

Sorry for the delay, I get a little focused on certain products and while i was putting all my efforts towards perfecting the 3090, I was then forced to put some of my attention on my Keyboard line and makes sure they launched properly.
I will do my best to work on the Software, I know its buggy and limited but you will see vast improvements in our software sets in the near future. This will include going back and fixing old software with issues.
I will do my best to get the features everyone has requested placed into the UI's we provide, and continue to work on the 3090 tweaks.
As for everyone using version 60 on here, attempt version 61 which should have improved the angle snapping.
F/W 61 can be found here:

This doesn't fix angle snapping, it's just fixes the inversion of the angle snapping option. Even with angle snapping properly turned off (I'm using v61 with angle snapping off), there is still a slight angle snapping as shown here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1206176/attn-cmstorm-spawn-mouse-owners/270#post_17192927

I'd like to know if you are working on fixing this, as this is my main problem with this mouse.

Thanks

It won't have exactly Mx300/G1 shape though :

Typical technical specs, which are much lower than what the mouse can achieve wink.gif

Huh? Acceleration isn't a general measurement of mouse performance in any way, it's simply native acceleration such as steelseries mice have been plagued with... Or the razer Salmosa back in the day.

If it has acceleration its a definite no-buy. mad.gif
