Read what he was answering to.

Guy asked for low LOD mousepad, since the sensor has higher LOD on dark surfaces, brighter ones might provide lower LOD at virtually no cost with the newest firmware.

3rd spawn in a year to die on me just tonight. no clue why it's so hard to make a mouse that's reliable. didn't even use this for gaming either... was for a laptop

*sigh* first one the switches went, second the paint + mouse2 switch, now the entire thing died

Finally, I found...
CSX Battle Pad DP (black).
Spawn - 800 dpi, USP polling rate - 1000 hz.
Fw 61.
Tapefix for lower LOD - less than 1 mm.
MarkC MouseFix Builder.
Windows 7 x64 ultimate - 3/11.
Cs 1.6 sensitivity - 4.0 and -noforcemspd.
Screen resolution 640x480.

The greatest!!!

MPCS - 4.5 m/s, neg accel (maximum speed) - 4.064 m/s... No accel!!!

All settings are good except there's no need to have both mousefix and -noforce commands. With enhanced precision on and -noforce the mousefix is not working so no point in installing it unless you need it for another game. It doesn't hurt you to have both but without mousefix there won't be any difference in CS.

The mousefix has never really worked for me anyways

Update from me:-

Been using the same mouse since release. Some of the protection stuff rubbed off over the white bits (the spawn writing), but i rubbed it off and it's never got any worse. Nothings broke with my mouse, which sees a fair bit of usage.

As reported by some others, I'm fairly sure there is a small bit of angle snapping with it set to off. My circles have flat edges, etc. Lift off sucks, and I don't care what skylit says, tape fixes suck too bro. Solid mouse otherwise, one of the best.

Had this mouse 6 months but the feet seem to be sticking too much to my artisan hayate. Any suggestions on the best replacement feet?

Zowie Intelli 1.1 and 3.0 Glides. They have such a universal Shape that you can use it on almost every Mouse and they glide like a Dream.

^ This if you're using a (soft) cloth mat.

If you're using a hard mat, you might be interested on bigger mousefeet like those on the SS Xai (got them for my Abyssus since Zowie's 1.1 feet left lots of residue on my mousemat and mouse "belly", to the point of putting teflon dust on the sensor).
