I'm currently using v61 firmware with tape fix.

Depends if the recon is using the same micro controller.

Tried to take apart my spawn earlier today and switch out the microswitches (D2FC-F7N) for some D2f-01F's. Unfortunately, Coolermaster went the route of supergluing the switches as well as soldering them to the board frown.gif. I was looking foward to how soft I could make the clicks for SC2.

Spawn's main buttons are very soft already and pretty quiet too. It's scroll wheel is another great part in my opinion.

i was planing to buy a Puretrak Talent mousepad and i would like know if the spawn will be good like it was in black mousepads.

Anyone use it in puretrak???

Hows the mouse works in that mousepad??

Any noticed flaws??

CMCarter when do you intend to update the spawn software so that a delay can be inserted between keystrokes in macros.

Call me crazy but what exactly was the point of adding multiple key macro ability without delay?

I use it with both the regular and white Talent, and it works great. Don't really notice much of a difference between the two pads.

I would like to say i have some mouses like sensei, g500, deathadder (1800dpi) and some others but the Spawn mouse seems to fit best to my hand and this mouse seems to has the best track i ever saw, Im not an specialist but its really amazing.

So I just ordered my CMstorm Spawn, and looking through this thread I've noticed a lot of people discussing the v61 firmware, so I was wondering when I get my new mouse should I get v32 or v61 beta? Also, what is the difference between v32 and v61, besides the LOD and is the higher LOD on v61 really that much worse?

61 has a solid 800dpi setting. 32's 800 dpi setting has a low pcs.
