Yes, we also have a fingertip grip mouse on the way carrying this sensor. Both Mice will be updated.

Any idea on the timeline we're looking at? Earlier in this thread you mentioned after chinese new year... It would be awesome to have a firmware update soon. I think those settings of 800/1600/3200/4000 would be incredible for gaming

They wanted to add a 400 CPI step iirc. I wouldn't be surprised if they followed the roccat SAVU cpi layout.

would love smaller dpi steps and the ability to save a pointer speed with a dpi setting

<3 the mouse itself though

From my limited understanding, thats just a good way to end up with a inconsistent sensor. Besides, you can always bind a sensitivity change to a button in 99% of games, if you use dpi changes to snipe and stuff. smile.gif

Would make more sense for the low sens/res cs gamers, and the like. I'd get rid of the 4000dpi step, but I guess it works for marketing. Hopefully they'll fix the polling rates and LOD while they're at it.

We are still working on it, although Avago released the firmware update for up to 4000DPI, it must be tweaked properly in order to avoid several issues. We are working on it as fast as we can.. just gotta hang in there and know we havent forgotten about it. We fully intend to continue to update all of the products we release.

no idea about any of that eh-smiley.gif i just play old games that dont have in-game sensitivity changes so i just keep the spawn program up and change when i go back n forth doh.gif

Are you guys planning to update the software such that you can bind control or shift to a side button and have the key stay activated as long as the side button is depressed?

I would rather have a fix for the 800 DPI setting than a dpi of 4000. The thing with Google Chrome and the software doesn't seem to give me any problems as long as I move the mouse right after applying the settings.

I thought the Xornet was said to be the 400 dpi version of the Spawn (cm storm forums), albeit with a lower end sensor.
