Well, I have to say, the mouse is definately performing much nicer. It would be nice to have all the settings available from the new firmware (800/1600/3200/4000), it provides a smooth transition from lowest to highest in 800 dpi increments.

Also, as skylit said earlier, for a beta it is incredible, and i couldn't agree more. i feel like this performs better than the 30a firmware I was using, and i don't have the issues tracking on my 4HD that I had with the 31 and 32 firmwares

LoD would be nice to have as lower but it's not too big of an issue, in terms of this tape fix, does it work without hindering the tracking at all? how much lower does it make the LoD?

Will depend on actual tape position. My lift off is currently around 1.5mm on a Goliathus speed and IPS doesn't seem hindered at all. Even tested with Enotus.

That would be a shame. The shape works extremely well for specific low sens claw grips. I don't think I've used a better mouse in this regard. (Personal preference)

For a wrist playing style, I would prefer a WMO/Xai type shape.

Just played some MGE in TF2 on 800 DPI @ 500Hz.

Tracking seemed to be improved. As I said before LOD is higher, but I didn't have any issues with it in game so it is negligible imo. If it was an issue I'd probably do the tape mod, but I don't feel it is necessary.

I only have a 12" 360 so I don't move my mouse absurdly fast outside of quick flicks for rocket jumps or airshots.

Good FW.

A heads-up regarding FW60 - it seems that the angle snapping setting is inverted:
- angle snapping checkbox green (should mean ON) actually means OFF
- angle snapping checkbox red (should mean OFF) actually means ON

That was one of the driver issues I referred to biggrin.gif

Great news! I tried beta firmware already and I don't see any jittering at 800 CPI using any polling rate. 800 CPI tracks just alright this time smile.gif . I measured CPI with Enotus and it seems to be closer to 700 CPI than actual 800 but it's fine, even better. The other steps are about ~1400CPI and ~3500CPI fine too. The max speed improved indeed. It's most likely about 4m/s (or above) @ 800CPI 500Hz. It's hard to say because Enotus is good only to some point, look at the screenshot below to see what I mean wink.gif . Someone should make proper test with the logger. I'm glad I waited patiently, haven't sold this mouse.

I haven't had an extensive amount of time to play, and the change in DPI messes up somewhat, but my opinion is that this mouse may be perfect now.

Not sure if the LOD is lower than 30a, but it's been putting me off less. I would prefer the option of going lower, but I'd say 60 is a perfectly fine "high" setting.
I play on 800/500, and it feels perfect. Even with the change in sens, its headshot galore.
Havne't noticed any issues, no neg accel, mouse just does what I tell it to do.
If its really doing 3-4ms perfect tracking, a 400 dpi step will make 1.6 gamers drool.

Thus far, I'm very happy. I can't say anything is obviously wrong with it.

As long as they're aware of the engine limitations or use an external program called rinput. (;

@ thread

I can give more feedback on the firmware, but it will have to wait until later.

Rinput can get you banned from anti-cheat, otherwise I dunno why people wouldn't be using it always. I don't however believe VAC is an anti-cheat that does this though as it's recommended by at least a couple of top 1.6 players.

Strange, here the anti cheat makers are actully support that software and let people use it without do any protection about mouse direct system change ingame
