Push pull or another Radiator i7 loop, adding 6850x2

So I'm pretty new to the forums and i was wondering if I need to get either a new Rad. or just get a push pull config. before I Water cool my Asus EAH6850's x2.

Currently I'm using: XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 to cool my i7-950 btw Stock frequency

WC kit

I'm planning to use EK universal GPU blocks with a Dual Serial Connection. I would get a full cover block but my 6850's don't use the reference design mad.gif so I will be using some RAMsinks from koolance for well.....the RAM. tongue.gif

Ramsinks

For the Additional cooling I would either use:

120mm Scythe SY1225SL12M x6 I would use these to replace the three stock fans that came with the kit.

Fans

or

Another Rad but still keep the same fans.

120Rad

If I get the the fans my loop will be:

Res>Rad>CPU>GPUx2>Res

If I get the Rad:

Res>360Rad>CPU>120Rad>GPUx2>Res

I do want to do some moderate overclocking to get my feet wet but nothing extreme. Right now my idle CPU temp is 30C I do not know my load temps but I know it doesn't go over 60C when under full load. I hope this helps you make an informative decision. I am greatly appreciative.smile.gif

Since that rad has rather close fin spacing (so it takes relatively more fan pressure to force the air through the fins) using 6 low pressure fans won'r be much improvement over 3 medium pressure fans. The ticket would be to use 6 120mm x 38mm fans. These will deliver much more pressure.
