Buy an H80 from amazon. trust me on this you arent going to be dissapointed. also water systems even closed loop ones are way better for high ambient as they have a radiator which dissipates heat much better than a tower heatsink, and water is just better at absorbing heat
lol...no he isn't. The H50 was first, then came the H70 both produced when Corsair were partnered with Asetek. Corsair then decided to work with Coolit instead, leaving Asetek to join forces with Antec. Corsair went on to produce the H60, H80, H100 and now the H40 all with untested designs.
Antec and Asetek took the lessons learned from the H50 and H70, listened to what the consumers asked for (bendy pipes, better cold plate etc.) and produced the next Gen 620 and 920.
So: H50 is Gen 1
H70 is Gen 2
(New pump assembly, rad size and cold plate)
Antec 620 and the 920 are Gen 3
H80 and H100 are technically Gen 1
of a whole new line with poor build quality and a short run i'm guessing. Gen 2 has already started to hit in the form of the H40.
Does that sound misinformed?
Bare in mind I've owned the H50, H70, H80, H100 and the Antec 920 I have now. The H50, H70 and the antec are all progressions to the design. While the H80 and H100 were new, both of which I had to RMA cos of shoddy build quality and preformance.
