Boot into BIOS, and set:
Bus Speed to 180.
Multi to 24
CPU voltage to 1.35v
IMC to Auto
DRAM to your rated voltage (1.5v-1.65v)

Then test it - it should be 4.3GHz

What cooler for you have? - Post what cooler you have before trying higher voltages.

You could start with the base settings of:
-Vcore: 1.3v
-IMC: 1.25v
-BCLK:RAM 2:10
-DRAM: 1.6v with timing of 9-9-9-24

I got my i3 530 run at 4.2GHz (200x21) with the above setting.

If it's of any help, I recently posted an example BIOS config for a 550 @ 4.7GHz in the i3 club thread:

http://www.overclock.net/t/653618/official-core-i3-owners-club/2320#post_16456046

It's for a different mbd, but perhaps the info might be useful anyway.

I've accumulated lots of benchmark data here:

http://sgidepot.co.uk/sgi.html#PC

And more data not yet added to the main index:

http://www.sgidepot.co.uk/misc/tests-jj.txt
http://www.sgidepot.co.uk/misc/aebench.html

To get a good oc, just follow the main Miahallen guide as described in my post in the i3 club thread,
but do it properly, follow the steps as suggested, don't cut corners. See:

I have my i3-540 at virtually the same settings and works on my board.

I think the IMC (integrated memory controller) usually requires a boost if you are running 4 DIMMs to as high as 1.3V

It takes time and patience to achieve higher clocks with multiple BSOD's. 1.3V is a good place to start as most i3's will reach 4GHz at that voltage relatively easy. Though not every chip and mobo will display the same results even if they are the same model, so you must use the trial and error method. The higher the BCLK means the higher the RAM settings so you must loosen the timings and adjust multi accordingly. Pushing your RAM to hard will cause major instability issues. Lowering the PLL setting from 1.8V(default) to say 1.74V will give you a major advantage as it allows you to lower Vcore and VTT(IMC) while remaing cooler and more stable.
