the multi chamber design is excellent, making the case seem somewhat smaller than it is (work space in upper chamber is a bit small). Airflow is good, esp. after a few easy mods (remove upper chamber HDD bracket, move some fans around). Cable management is a royal pain in the behind.

Once set up, it's great. Quiet and good temps.
i can get this case for $169.00 .. plus taxes .
im 80 percent certian im gonna buy it .
do you have the extra fans hooked up in your 180??
if so , what kind of fans did you buy??
if not, what would you reccommend me buying??
do you have a link for these fans ??
you mentioned '' a few easy mods '' ,, elaborate on that some .

i really would apprecitate any more imput you could give me on this case .
i am going to the computer dealer the later part of next week , to pick up a viewsonic 2025 wm monitor . the antec p180 is allready there .
i just need some help on what fans to purchase .
have a great weekend .
thanks for the help .
cheers .

when I bought, it came with three fans: two 120mm/25mm for exhaust back and intake front in the top chamber, and one 120mm/38mm for the center of the bottom chamber.

I made the following changes:
- Removed upper chamber HDD bracket, including the sliders
- Removed 120mm/38mm fan from bottom chamber
- Installed 120mm/38mm fan as front intake fan - top chamber
- both 120mm/25mm fans as exhaust fans in back and top
- zip-tied 92mm fan in bottom chamber as front intake (to the frame in the front)

See picture, althoug in this image there is still a fan in the bottom chamber. This one is gone now.

Running all stock fans, except that 92mm, which is just a generic Antec I believe.

No problem

I really don't think you need extra 120mm fans? I believe it comes with more fans now than when I bought it

thanks

on my psu , there is one fan , in the bottom .
if the power supply goes in the bottom of the case ,
there must be vent holes in the bottom . correct me if im wrong .

does the 3 fans connect together??
i have 3 places on my motherboard for case fans .
will the wires on the fans included be long enough to reach my motherboard??

i have 2 FAN PLUGS on my psu . maybe i will plug the fans into the psu??

i believe the fan controlls are on the inside of the case ?

do you have your fans on ,, high , med , or low??

the review that ive read says that 3 fans are included .

http://www.****************/reviews....p180b_atx_case

i think the manuel is kinda SPARCE..

when i gets the case , i may have more questions before i attempts to hook it up .
i hope im not a bother .
its just that im new , and want to collect as much info , as i can .
i hope you understand .
thanks again for your help , and replies .
cheers .

The fans have 4-pin molex connectors, so you can't hook them up to the mobo. Fan-only connectors on a PSU generally control the fans based on the temp in the PSU. I'd recommend not to use those, since the PSU is in a different chamber. I hook them up to standard molex connectors, and run them all three at medium.

The PSU is mounted such that there is an inch of space below and above it; which is plenty to draw air from the lower chamber. you can choose how to mount the PSU (either fan up or down). I mounted mine with the fan pointing downward, and stuff some excess cables on top of it.

Yes, the fan control switches will be inside the case. If you decide to hook them up to a fan controller, put the fans on high, and let the fan controller do its job.

Also worth noting is that due to the design the noise generated by fans is greatly reduced as they have used a 3 ply construction on the panels.

For your budget I would say get the Aerocool Masstige $109 at the bottom of thepage is links to reviews... Its a very good case just it dont have a front fan but you can always get the Scythe 5.12" bay 120mm fan.

Xoxide - $109
